Bambino Scholarship

The Bambino scholarship is an opportunity for special students to get financial assistance between $3000 and $5000 towards their college expenses. The New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal (NYSIR) scholarship is organized in memory of Cristin Ann Bambino, the late daughter of Robert – the NYSIR’s Director of Risk Management.

Cristin was a special student who was able to excel in education with a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate despite her disability. The Bambino scholarship is therefore to encourage more people with disability, who have been able to finish high school and are in transition to college for further studies.

The Bambino scholarship aims to award special students who did not have it easy in their early life education to have a smoother college experience with not many worries about college expenses.
